Homestay Volunteer Teachers Organization was founded with the following  purposes:

1. To support the field of education, and offer free education programs (based on both local and international knowledge) to Cambodian children - particularly for very poor and orphaned children.

2. To promote cultural interchange by inviting international volunteers to come to stay with us and help to teach children in the community.

3. To support good health by providing hand water pumps and water filters to the poor communities.

4. To create scholarship programs for outstanding students.

5. To provide other professional skills and training courses to Cambodians who cannot afford to acquire such skills.
